A residential town with long stretch of white-sand.

Neighbouring beach suburbs of Avoca and Terrigal, North Avoca is still one of the most sought-after surfing destinations for surfers on the Central Coast. A popular cafe called The Boy & The Rose is a drawcard for this small town. 

North Avoca Beach is a patrolled Beach in summer. Professional Central Coast Council lifeguards patrol North Avoca Beach from Monday until Friday. During weekends and on public holidays these locations are patrolled by Surf Life Saving volunteers.

People with a disability will now find it easier to access North Avoca Beach with a Sand Cruiser wheelchair available for bookings.

Both North Avoca and Avoca Beaches are dog friendly with the area around Avoca Lake very popular with owners who like to let their dogs run around off leash. With amazing bird life, there is always an abundance of birds to feed and enjoy, King Parrots, Rainbow Lorikeets, Kookaburras to name just a few.
